I was thinking watermelon or cantaloupe?
if you want to grow a watermelon or a cantaloupe plant, you’ll need a very large pot, I’d say 16 inches deep at least, and as big wide at the top. you should be able to do it that way, keep it moist and light 12 hours a day. The easiest fruit to grow indoors is strawberries, and they only need a pot 6 inches deep. If you want to go crazy, you could order the small dwarf trees in pots that bear fruit, like lemons, limes, citrus fruits.
